Earlier this year around June and July, I attended a photography workshop conducted by Darren Sylvester, the guy in the video above. He has an extensive amount of work, considering he’s only 20+. He photographs adolescents in different scenarios, titles such as “Forgotten and Alone But Trying” are clues to the subjects’ persona and the narrative part of the image. One of the most endearing part about Darren is that he’s a music lover, and he often incorporates that into his process.
